About the Highland Fling
For one Sunday in May, our school grounds are transformed into an amazing carnival with fun for all ages that brings our community together to support the work of the PTO on behalf of our students, parents, and teachers.
Named for Highland Lane, located outside the front doors of Coopertown Elementary, the Fling is a celebration of our lively and active school community. Modeled after Scotland’s traditional Highland Games, this four-hour event features traditional Highland sports, as well as lots of family fun, food, and games.
